The Oakbrook Companies initiated its consulting services in 1988 shortly after the formation of the company. These services include the provisions of advice in the areas of:
a) Acquisition/disposition
of real estate assets;
b) Financing, refinancing, capital restructuring;
c) Financial/feasibility analysis of development opportunities, investments
or in connection with real estate business decisions;
d) Development services (See Development)
e) Tenant representations in lease negotiations;
f) Valuation analysis
Mr. Michael L. Morey, President, holds the designation of Counselor of Real Estate and is a member of the Counselors of Real Estate, an international group of high profile professionals including members of prominent real estate, financial, legal and accounting firms, as well as leaders of government and academia who provide expert, objective advice on real property and land related matters.
Our clients have included partnerships, real estate investment trusts, banks, pension funds, corporations, local governments and private individuals.
Compensation for services is usually by pre-agreed fee or on an hourly rate of time reimbursement.
